These two homemade beauty treatments are both incredibly easy and effective.
I began by researching the many different ways one can make these concoctions. I then took all my favorite attributes, based on efficacy, smell, texture and healing properties; then created my own. I started with the homemade age spot remover and homemade make-up remover, as these are two of the top things that I have been longing for good solutions to. I will roll out a few more homemade beauty treatments, in the next few days. Happily tried and tested!!
Ingredients
Start by beating the the coconut oil up with a fork. This is a waxy substance that tends to harden easily. By whipping it up for a few minutes, you allow it to be more workable and usable.
Add the rest of the ingredients, and mix until fully blended and smooth.
Now, for the test!
It works better than anything I’ve ever used. In one swipe, the eyeliner was almost entirely gone. A little goes a long way too! So, just a small dab with the cotton ball is plenty. It was gentle on the skin, smells heavenly and has tons of skin benefits to help around the eyes.
The coconut oil provides a deep and real moisture. It helps strengthen underlying tissues and removes dead skin cells. The oil and alcohol both encourage the removal of dirt and make-up. The water keeps it from being too oily or stinging to the skin.
It is luxurious in both smell and texture!

Salt Tips
Try to find a more finely ground sea salt, as it will be easier to apply to the face. Sea salt is produced through the evaporation of ocean water or from salt water lakes, usually with little processing. Table salt is typically mined from underground salt deposits. It is more processed, losing it’s minerals, and it contains additives to prevent clumping.
Dispense it into a small travel jar, and you’re set!
(You can find the jars in the travel, haircare or beauty sections of the supermarket or pharmacy).
Making the Labels
To make these labels, I used a sticky-back Avery Label, made for printing, cut to size. You can absolutely create your own graphic design on the computer, for printing. I have an affinity toward watercolor, so I just used freehand lettering, a small illustration and a touch of watercolor.
Voila!
You now have a cute package to house these wonderful creations.
